Proposal

 Topic:
After a few mixed idea, our group decided to base our documentary on internet safety as it is something we felt was becoming more and more recognised in the public eye not only by people our own age, but also by children younger than us. We decided to base it on social networking sites such as facebook and myspace whilst also questioning our audience on this.
The documentary itself gave an in-depth explanation of the child safety in 2010 and the risks that the internet can hold. The whole point of the documentary was to aim it at children who use the intenet and their parents in order to inform them of the risks and the action that can be taken, in order to ask ''Are children safe in this age of technology''.
In order to gather inormation and help progress an answer, we looked into people related with the question such as police workers, teachers and our own target audience.

Key facts That will be researched and explained:
The growing number of children with access to the internet which is not monitored by Parents or Guardians.
The amount of people on social networking sites posing to be children/ paedophiles.
Legislation protecting children/adults on the internet.
Monitors in place on social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace etc.
